Heart for Down

so free for blog? hehe, nope!

dun knw y, cant sleep!!!
hehe, side effect of tea which usually x effective at all to me?!

i juz did revision on Down Synd, a Genetic disease...
feel nice to share a touching event during my peadiatrics posting few months ago...

tt day was my end posting exam day...
i was facing a "killer" examiner, very nervous at that time...
the examiner was showing me a chest radiograph...
i felt lucky as tt was my pt's whom i examined 1 day b4 the exam!!!
while interpretating the x-ray, tt same patient came and stood beside me...
emmm...actually he x clear tt i was at exam setting,
he smiled at me, i neglected him as the killer was in front of me...
i continued my work...
but, he was so friendly, he showed his hand as a sign wanna shake hand w me...
... ...
i stopped my conversation w the examiner,
and i turned to him, and touched his hand, then gentlely showed the sign "bye2!"
he was so happy and left to his own bed... ...
... ...
the examiner looked at me, then he smiled for secs... then, v cont the exam...

emmm... Down syndrome patient always shows happy emo...
although his brain x developed well, but he likes to make friends like other kids...
even though his dysmorphic faces with mongolian like eyes, flat nose, small mouth with big tongue, he smiles and laughs more and happier than normal ppl...
even though his right palmar creases r lesser than normal one, incurved little finger,i still can felt the warmness from his palm...
he... juz a simple boy and lives w a simple life :)

P/s: this pt got severe congenital heart disease w multiple operation scar on his chest wall... hope he is better now and lives happily!

*C: a doctor not only fulled w knowledge and well in sharing the knowledge, but shld also well in express the caring heart to the patients...
"Aiyo, *C, r u ready to be a good and safe doctor ?"
